Project Soundception is part of the work of the Participatory Mapping Institute, an
institution that brings together researchers who go beyond state-of-the-art public
participation and participatory mapping systems. We use Public Participatory GIS in our
research, using the Maptionnaire tool. It allows for simple and efficient community
participation, as well as the collection, analysis and visualization of map-based data by
planners and researchers.
